Through my work at Microsoft, I recently became interested in a technology paradigm called containers and then I fell in love with a particular implementation of it called Kubernetes. This new found love was very intriguing, but there is a lot about it that I don’t yet know.

Over the past 18 years, I’ve used dreaddontdie as an opportunity to explore and learn new technologies. From HTML to ASP.NET to Javascript to HTML5 to Azure App Service. So, it only makes sense that I move dreaddontdie.com to Kubernetes and learn first hand how to run a containerized application.

This is part of my 5 week personal project that Microsoft gives us every year…allowing us to build or create almost anything that will further our technical development. We call it our P20 project, since about 20% of our time is allocated for development. You can see my detailed P20 plan here.
